Decontamination of vehicles in case of an outbreak of ASF

According to a report by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture published on 02.12.19, further cases of ASF in wild boars in Poland near to the german border have been notified.

The Animal Disease Prevention Society founded 5 years ago in North Rhine-Westphalia focuses on hygienic measures. It has commissioned Meier-Brakenberg to develop methods for the decontamination of vehicles in the case of an acute epidemic in North Rhine-Westphalia. For example, we developed effective disinfection gates for rapid construction at acute epidemic points. Meier-Brakenberg offers mobile decontamination arches for acute rapid assembly, as well as stationary disinfection gates that can be used for preventive hygiene at the company's own borders.

As soon as a vehicle approaches the decontamination sluice, the high-efficiency sensors are triggered and the nozzles distribute the disinfectant immediately at full pressure, even in front of the driver's cab and behind the rear. The offset nozzles in the archway wet the vehicle from above and from all sides. Full-surface wetting is guaranteed for every vehicle size and passenger car, even with trailer. The powerful nozzles in the floor ramp ensure good underbody, tyre and wheel arch cleaning.
