For consistent optimization of animal farming it is absolutely necessary to carry out control weighing on a regular basis. Such control leads to important information which helps to increase economic efficiency of fattening and breeding farms: e.g. accurate data related to weight increases, effective animal control during weighing process, carcass yield and fattening control as well as selling weight of piglets and fatteners. Maximum returns can only be achieved at optimum selling weight.

The solid aluminium scale with double-leaf doors is available in various dimensions. The picture shows a standard size: 1.80 x 3.00 m. The group scale can be moved easily with the carriage. Greatest benefit for you: only 2 cm step in - the animal scale no longer needs to be let into the barn aisle!

Our stationary low-floor scales are used for weighing of groups and also for fast weighing of individual animals before slaughtering. It is constructed to fit into the requested position inside your stable and excels with excellent practice-oriented handling.

 

Easy access to the scales - Even for rearing piglets.

These scales can be placed in the stable aisles due to the very low access height of only 2 cm. The scales are very easy to access for humans and animals and do not need to be embedded in the floor. This is not only time saving, there are also no more lowerings in the floors which often cause dirt and water accumulations.

Anti-skid floor.

Animals are placed on corrosion resistant aluminium (cattle transport base plate) which is anti-skid and easy to clean.

Made of especially for this weighing machine developed floor profiles and entirely welded square profiles to ensure best stability and low net weight.

Double doors.

Equipped with snap-function, opens completely inwards and outwards. Therefore length of scales can be calculated to reach the door of the pen.

 

Remote operation by foot pedal.

Both double doors can be opened by foot pedal from the other side. Springs push the doors outwards and keep them open. The animals can easily walk through. No space next to the scales needed to walk all the way through to the other side to open the opposite side gate.

Durch die Bewegungsfreiheit der Waage besteht die Möglichkeit, an verdeckte Gülleschieber und -stopfen zu gelangen. Mit Hilfe des Fahrgestells kann die Waage im Gang verfahren werden. Die Tier können durch das Verfahren direkt vor ihrem Abteil gewogen werden oder am jeweiligen Stallausgang.

NEW: Weighing display for fast weighing

The new weighing display facilitates quick sorting of pigs with the help of a four-color display. Four weight ranges can be programmed individually and are displayed in the respective color during weighing. In this way, pigs can be marked quickly and intuitively according to the color display, if necessary.

Weights are stored and totaled if necessary and can be transferred to the computer via a standard USB interface.

The display is large and bright and also easy to read in the stable. An animal weighing program as well as an automatic rebalancing also facilitate the fast animal weighing. The power supply is via mains adapter or battery operation.   

 

Weighing using zero position

Depending on operational conditions, sorting of fattening pigs before slaughter date can be carried out very efficiently with the low-floor scales. Especially by taking advantage of the scale’s zero position. To do so, just let all the pigs enter the scales together ever since it is much easier for them to walk out one at a time than to walk in one at a time. Once the animals are all on the scale, tare the weighing display to zero position. After the first animal left the scale, the display shows the individual animal weight by indicating a minus weight; tare again and so on until all pigs are weighed individually.

The weights of the animals are recorded and stored as usual during weighing process, and the traffic light display can also be used for sorting.
